The Cybersecurity & Embedded Systems training covers several aspects such as the stakes, the risks, normative references and standards, taking cybersecurity into account from company policy all the way to writing code, the different attack vectors, and so on. As head of the R&D software department of a French company that manufactures medical devices, I wanted to organise training on the IEC 62304:2015 standard for the members of my department and extend it to other people in the company. The aim was to cover the recent changes to the standard, to review its fundamentals, and also to introduce people from other departments who might be involved in software-development processes. This initiative targeted around 30 people across several sites, including one abroad. ISIT met this need by offering an innovative training format in the form of a web conference.
